VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TO PREP PRACTICE FIELDS!!!!!!!
Hi Everyone,
As a result of a number of variables unfortunately out of our control (uncertainty surrounding timeline of season, registration numbers, which practice fields would be available for use, etc) our off-site practice fields are a mess!
We’re going to schedule times to gather volunteers to prep them, and need all of the help we can get. I don’t anticipate any of the fields to take more than a few hours assuming 4-5 volunteers per field.
The first scheduled time will be:
THIS SUNDAY starting at 2pm at Cinnabar School. The goal will be to break up the infield soil, fill gopher holes, get rid of vegetation, level and smooth out the surface as best we can.
Items needed:
Rakes
Stiff rakes (suitable to loosen packed soil)
Flat Shovels
Gas or Battery powers weed whackers
The next prep day will be at Upper and Lower Wilson. We will send out more info when we settle on a date.
